A large-scale abstract oil on canvas by the French artist Suzanne Conche (born 1903), created circa 1980. Measuring an impressive 123 x 123 cm, the painting is a fine example of French post-war lyrical abstraction, characterised by expressive brushwork and a harmonious interplay of colour and form.

This painting is stylistically consistent with that period and retains the artist's "CONCHE" studio stamp on the reverse, and signed bottom left along with handwritten inventory markings on the original stretcher.
